Description: John Melchior caught this giant trout on opening day in Parkton Maryland off of Cameron Mill Rd. (Little Falls). John went to Sets in Towson to get the fish verified and received his MD Fishing Challenge ticket. The fish's length was 29 inches, the girth was 20 inches and the overall weight was between 14.5-15 lbs. They did the math at Sets (length x girth x girth divided by 800), and came up with 14.5 lbs. Caught on 7 lbs test.
